upgrades proving their worth
The BRON 175HD showcased its impressive ability in Missouri to easily work in the hardest soil conditions, proving itself as a reliable solution for direct plowing. The unit was upgraded with a 250 vibratory shaker box which delivered an impressively quiet and smooth operation. The 4000 pound front counterweight kept the machine on the ground, even in the hardest soil conditions.
CONSISENT RESULTS IN MANY CONDITIONS
Working at depths of 42 to 48 inches with a 2” x 3” single chute, the BRON 175HD maintained a high pace across varying terrains. On the initial major run, the team averaged a steady 65 feet per minute. This performance increased during the second run of 1,270 feet, where the machine was operated in high gear to achieve an average of 75 feet per minute, demonstrating its ability to maintain speed without sacrificing depth or accuracy.
The versatility of the 175HD was truly tested on the second day as the crew moved to a demanding route consisting of steep hillsides and compacted gravel roads. Despite these obstacles, the plow maintained a respectable average of 45 feet per minute. This confirmed to the crew the plow can handle whatever conditions are thrown at it.
TESTING THE TRUE CAPABILITY OF THE 175HD
To conclude the project, the team conducted a "speed test" in typical Midwest farm ground to see the machine’s true potential. In a short 300-foot sprint between telephone poles, the BRON 175HD completed the run in just 2.5 minutes, proving that it offers the perfect balance of raw power and high-speed production for modern utility contractors.
