PLOWING SOLAR FIELD CABLES WITH THE V250

Used on a large 1,500 acre solar project site, the V250 add-on plow proved to dramatically speed up the process of cable installation. The plow was designed to include a customized chute engineered for tri-plex cabling and featuring a sand hopper.

When combined with a brand new JD1050P dozer, professionally installed by BRON, the plow met and exceeded all expectations. Operators have noted that the custom-installed joystick controls are exceptionally easy to use, allowing for precise handling across the expansive site while meeting and exceeding all technical expectations.

ENGINEERED FOR EFFICIENCY

Taking advantage of the V250s ability to install cable without using the traditional method of trenching, the project was immediately put ahead of schedule. The contractor reported that by eliminating the need for trenches the efficiency of the V250 paid for itself in the form of reducing time spent plowing cable, digging trenches, and manpower.
